Marti Colwell

Marti Colwell is the founder and president of CMG Delivers. An articulate speaker, excellent writer and a seasoned marketing professional, she is a veteran of more than fifty product launches. Marti's experience includes the full range of marketing activities, from corporate identity to advertising and from product launches to press and media relations. She works closely with CMG Delivers' clients to solidify leadership roles in their industry segments, enhance product awareness and crystallize positioning.

Before starting the agency, Marti held numerous management and executive management positions for high technology firms, ranging from start-ups to companies of $400 million+ in revenue.

Throughout her career, Marti has worked with innovative technologies. She launched the first holographic software package and the first CD-based customer survey. Her newsletters have won the prestigious Crystal Award and she has promoted, directed and implemented international User Conferences. Marti creates business plans that attract venture capital, positioning products for market acceptance. Her writing (and ghost writing) includes cover stories in leading trade publications, customer success stories, corporate web sites, white papers, guest editorials, internal and external newsletters, corporate brochures, ads, e-mailers and direct mailers. Marti has also done extensive customer surveys and planning of tradeshows and user group meetings.

Marti completed the Executive Program at UCLA and has a Master's degree from Phillips University. She earned a B.A. in Liberal Arts, with a minor in Spanish, from the University of Miami. Marti has been listed in Who's Who in California, was a member of the President's Advisory Council for the City of Hope, has completed the USC Leadership and Management Development Program, is the past president of the San Diego alumni chapter of UCLA and a member of the International Coaching Society.
