Dan Schlosky

Dan Schlosky has worked as a writer, magazine editor and public relations professional, concentrating on business and technology-related corporate communications. He has written in-depth articles and white papers on microelectronics, electronic design automation, telecommunications, computer technology, data storage, networking technology, computer hardware and software, nanotechnology and e-commerce.

A former feature articles editor at Datamation magazine, Dan has written more than 300 feature and technical articles for such business and trade magazines as iMarketing News, Silicon Strategies, ISD (Integrated System Design), Electronic Engineering Times, LAN Times, Design News, Communications Technology, Computer Technology Review and others. He has written feature articles, white papers and corporate communications for clients ranging from Sun Microsystems, Hewlett-Packard, Broadcom Corp., Candle Corporation and Computer Sciences to Platinum Solutions, Western Digital, Deloitte & Touche and Xerox. Dan’s key strengths are developing white papers, feature articles, technical articles, backgrounders, case histories, product briefs and press releases. A former speechwriter at Intelsat, Dan has also written keynote speeches for U.S. Venture Partners, TV/COM International, and Pioneer Electronics.

Prior to working with CMG Delivers, Dan worked as a public relations manager for TRW, and for such public relations agencies including Burson Marsteller and Fleishman-Hillard. He also co-founded Marcom Strategies. Dan has run highly successful programs for Newport Systems Solutions (now Cisco), AST Research, 3D Systems, Alantec (now part of FORE Systems), Boole & Babbage and Parana Supplies Corporation.

Earlier in his career, Dan taught English language and literature at the University of California at Berkeley and at California State University/Northridge. His formal education combines technology and the humanities. Dan earned a B.A. in chemistry from Brandeis University, M.S. in chemistry from Yale University, and M.A. and Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of California at Berkeley.
